Roger Staub

Roger Staub

During the World Ski Championships of 1958, Roger Staub, wearing Hart Skis won three medals: silver in the downhill, bronze in the giant slalom and bronze in the combined.

His biggest success came later, at the 1960 Olympic Games in Squaw Valley, where he won the giant slalom. Roger embodies the spirit of the Hart tradition.

Not only did he join the Hart Demonstration Team, Roger was featured on an iconic Hart poster that is still highly sought after by collectors today. The poster's action shot was caught by photographer Marvin Newman and showcases the classic air-borne Roger Staub wearing his 1960’s downhill racing suit and skiing on the “Phat” ski of the day - The Javelin XXL.


Suzy Chaffee

Suzy Chaffee

Chaffee a Hart Ski enthusiast and Ski Hall of Famer, was the top-ranked U.S. skier at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, France. She was also a three-time world freestyle skiing champion from 1971-73.


Billy Kidd

William "Billy" Kidd

Billy Kidd, a true ski legend who skied with Hart for 30 years, can still be found at Steamboat giving sage advice and encouraging the next generation of skiers. Billy’s best friend, Jimmy Heuga, won the bronze medal when Billy won the Silver in 1964. Billy would use his voice and prominence to help fight multiple sclerosis (MS) when his friend Jimmy received the diagnosis. Hart is proud to salute Billy, and to support Jimmy’s efforts to bring a better quality of life to those with MS.


Liz McIntyre

Elizabeth McIntyre

A Dartmouth graduate, Liz McIntrye was a member of three U.S. Olympic Ski teams: 1992 (Albertville); 1994 (Lillehammer); and 1998 (Nagano). Liz also won the World Freestyle Championship for mogul skiing in 1996 and a silver medal at the 1994 Olympics on Hart's F17 skis.


Nannan Xu

Nannan Xu

Nannan Xu was the first Chinese woman to win an Olympic Winter medal. She won a sliver medal at the 1998 Nagano Olympics on Hart Skis.
