Hart Favorite: Javelin

Hart Memory: I bought my first pair of Javelins in 1971 while in high school. I'm excited to get onto a new pair of GS models and race them. The Fuelie BOSS and Blue Phoenix look ideal for high speed cruising out West. Can't wait to try them.

Hart Memory: I bought my first Hart-ski in the mid 80's. I had my greatest skimoments with these pair of Hart-ski. I enjoyed the lightness of skiing with this fantastic ski. The Honeycomb ski are still in use. I coudn't find anymore a ski like this. Kind Regards Bernhard

Hart Favorite: I love them all!!

Hart Memory: I love all Hart skis!!! I still have my Hart Competition skis circa 1978 The new Hart Blue Phoenix really rips down the hill and the race course with ease and will snap you back into reality if you begin to lay back, these skis’s rock!!! The new Hart Javelin GS put the F in Fast!!! And this ski is extremely stable and fast in the course or out free skiing and especially fun on long groomers out west. All the new Hart skis have awesome graphics! I bought my mother a pair of the Lady Hart skis and she loves them! So many people ask me on the ride back to the top of the mountain, what ski’s I have on? I am always excited and proud to say Hart Skis!

Hart Favorite: Hart Comp CR 210cm

Hart Memory: 80's racer of no celebrity at all but it wasn't Hart's fault! My Comp CR's kept me on-course through thick and thin. Harts were the only thing to ski on MN racer runs.

Hart Favorite:

Hart Memory: I got my start 40 years ago skiing after school at Welch Village. From day one I longed for a pair of Harts. When I won my first race on the Hornets I’d worked all summer for, I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. 500 ski days later, cloud nine for me is savoring the fresh tracks I’ve climbed all morning to reach. Skiing for me is a dance with gravity – the soul of a mountain – which, to be truly experienced, must be done by surrendering one’s Hart.

Hart Favorite: 1965 Hart Metal Skis

Hart Memory: Tonight my old 1965 Red 'guaranteed for life'Hart metal skiis (180's) are tugging at my heart - because I finally parted with them. (Boo Hoo!) I took them to a fundraiser 'Ski for Light (handicapped) ski swap, and sold them for $5.00. I didn't expect them to go, really, and tonight I'm missing them - wondering who bought them and where they will end up - and hopeing someone will give them a good home - perhaps decorating someone's garage? I went on e-bay and Craigslist to see if there were any similar skiis and what they might be worth; but I didn't find anything like them. I actually skiied on them until 7 years ago, when I finally broke down and made the transition to shaped skiis. Those old Hart's stole my heart carrying me down many slopes for many years, and true to their guarantee, they were still almost as good as when purchased. I'll miss you babes -

Hart Favorite: 1975 Hart Cutlass red and yellow graphics

Hart Memory: Standing at the ski wall as a little kid and listening to all the Pat rollers and Schoolers dreaming about getting a pair. My Dad had the Javelin and the Javelin XXL mounted with Look Nevada toes and Marker heels. The skis had yellow P-Tex bases and the 'nickel' groove. Those damn things ran downhill like a raped ape and held wax like nothing else. I couldn't wait to get my own pair of and finally scored a pair of Cutlass in High School. They took me to a 4th place finish at the State High School Championships and now reside in a museum in Hot Sulfur Springs, Colorado.

Hart Favorite: Outback

Hart Memory: As a kid watching mogul contests, I always remember seeing 'Hart' on the bottoms of competitors' skis as they did their aerials. I have always associated Hart skis with the best skiers in the world. the ones I would like to become. I still have two pairs of F-17s and a pair of Outbacks that I wish I could upgrade. So glad to hear this company has risen again.

Hart Favorite: Hornet

Hart Memory: Christmas 1968. My father had me pick out a new pair of skis. I had been asking about the Hart Hornet but my Dad said they were too much money. I settled on a pair of Northland GT 5000's. What a surprise when I came downstairs there was a pair of Hart Hornets with Step in bindings and new Nordica Boots. I was in Heaven... I have skied the gamut with Hart skis from the Hornets to javelins...

Hart Favorite: those GS boards your founder was wearing

Hart Memory: I had a pair of Hart Gremlins purchased at Laake and Joys in Milwaukee. I was with Blizzard Ski Club (again in Milwaukee) and we were out for a Saturday at the Playboy Club near Lake Geneva. It happened to be a fairly warm day so the bunnies were skiing around in their little outfits, which was like heaven for a youngster like myself. Anyway there was a HUGE jump that the ski patrol hadn't dismantled yet and I was next to hit it. While on my approach I noticed there were a few bunnies watching, so I stepped up the speed a notch. I hit that thing with everything I had, which turned out to be disaster for me. It had a spring effect in the trough of the jump which caught me off guard and launched me 6-8 feet into the air. I landed on my front, bounced and slide down the hill. I looked up the hill at my feet to find I only had one ski on. The other was 30 yards up the hill sticking out of the snow as if someone had shot it from a hunting bow. I made my way back up (as the bunnies also rushed to my aid, so the pro

Hart Favorite: Javelin Original

Hart Memory: It was around 1972 we were in the midst of the gas shortage and Connecticut was falling on hard times, I was a young 16 year old boy growing up in the small town of Milford Ct. I had just past my 16th birthday. I was raised on skis. I began at age 3, Very active in sports and had just recently joined the Milford High Ski Team. I was raised on Hart skis, most of my friends were enjoying the Rossi 102 and the K2 comp. However the only ski I wanted to race on was the HART USA Comp. I remember my Mom and Dad were tight on money my sister was bugging them for a new pair of the Hart holiday skis, she was an easy rider by todays standards. Anyway Christmas was approaching and all I could think about was those white skis with the giant Blue writing, as i recall Billy Kidd had just won the US Olympics and was actively presenting the Hart Comps. The problem was I new my parents had to get me a new pair of ski boots, so ski's were out of the question. However, I remember that Xmas morning like it just happened. It was

Hart Favorite: Lady Hart

Hart Memory: I don't have one yet, but I would love to have a Hart ski memory. I'm interested in the Lady Hart skis considering my title is Lady Hart in the UK, it seems too funny not to have skis that say that, too. If you had Lord Harts for me, that would be the icing on the cake! Love the designs, hope to try these out some day! Glad your back on the scene. My dad used to ski with Harts (a million years ago hehehehe) and he LOVED them!

Hart Favorite: Gremlin

Hart Memory: As a child I was a part of the Blizzard Ski Club. As children do, we would play pranks on one another. Often that involved popping of your friends binding while riding up the chair lift. While very dangerous, the only casualties were my friend's Rossignals, Olins and K2's. My Gremlins took just as many plunges from one-hundred feet to the hard-packed ice and snow of a Minnesota ski hill. Never so much as a scratch. They must have been, and likely still are the most bulletproof ski ever made.

Hart Favorite: My 1969 model

Hart Memory: In the 1968 ski season. I had the good fortune to ride the chair with Heidi, one of the European import instructors for which Taos was famous. Blonde pigtails, the sweater and the old school ski pants, you get the idea. She had just acquired a new pair of Hart skis and she was trumpeting her satisfaction with her selection. I was nine at the time and that Christmas my gift was my first set of gear. You can bet the choice was easy, Hart (no Head or K2). Heidi made a very lasting impression and so did my experience with my Hart skis. Send me the stuff I'll gladly be a walking advertisement for the brand.

Hart Memory: Learned to ski on an old cast off pr of Hart freestyles. Parents dropped us off at Highland hills at 7am and came back to get us at 7pm. Fantastic day, I was skiing decently before noon and was able to keep up with my friends the rest of the day. Skied constantly and collapsed in bed when I got home. skied every weekend that first year at Highland. I don't ski there anymore (Colorado now) but I smile every time I think of it and its the first 'ski story' I ever share at with friends.
