• BASE: The Crown 4000 base material will hold any wax at temperature.
• EDGES: Special SAE 1070 T rail with a 48RHC hardness.
• SIDEWALLS: 9.5mm UHMW which anti crush characteristics built in.
• CORE and CONSTRUCTION: Laminated 20mm strips with two 22 ounce triaxial fiberglas layers in a wet layup over a poplar core. A layer of unidirectional 9 ounce glass is then placed on top for tweaking the torsional rigidity and flex. Rubber dampening is used above and below the tip fill in addition to the areas above the edge and below the sidewalls.
